Come Dine With Me Wedding Special!

In the aftermath of the biggest Royal Wedding in three decades, we are still pulling down the bunting, drinking the last of the Pimms and dreaming of Kate's stunning 1950's style wedding gown! The dress had a slightly bullet shaped bodice, lace sleeves, a cinched in waist and full skirt and train and she looked every inch the classic Princess that the nation had hoped for!

If your wedding is coming up and you'd like to steal some of the new Duchess of Cambridge's style, make sure you consider our 1950's Halterneck Circle Dress in Ivory or White lace. Wear over one of our frothy petticoats for an authentic and classic bridal ensemble with that royal touch.

And another lady who had a touch of Royal Fever last week was Samantha, the winner of the Royal Wedding Special of Come Dine With Me on Channel 4 which aired on the evening of the wedding itself, Friday 29th April.

For her winning dinner party, Sam threw her guests a traditional 1940s East-End street party!

To truly get into the spirit of the day she had her friends and family pitch in, and decked out her street with trestle tables and bunting, finally serving up classic East-End grub like pie, mash and liquor! A splendid idea!

Some of Sam's extra guests looked authentic and glamourous in their Vivien of Holloway outfits! We spotted a Red Rose Sarong Set, a Daisy Gold pencil dress set worn by the wonderful Kai Hoffman and a Floral Noir pencil dress!

Well done Sam! It just goes to show that the old favourites can still hold their own, fashion and food alike!
