Spring is Coming

It's the beginning of March and the sun is shining – we're full of the joys of spring here, only partly brought about by the blue skies. It's about this time of year that we can start looking forward to picnics and trips to the seaside... wishful thinking perhaps, knowing the British weather?

Well, whether the spring brings rain or shine, frankly, it's about time we put away the thermal undies and stepped out in something a bit more cheerful! And so, we've just released a stunning selection of new fabrics especially for the new season.

The Strawberry Fields halterneck circle dress is a new take on a best-selling favourite. Just as all our circle dresses, it features a swingy full skirt, topped by a fabulously figure-hugging, boned bodice that lifts, supports, and indeed nips in all the right places. The crisp cotton fabric is a period perfect reproduction of a much sought-after 50s fruit print; and is available in both a white and a black version, each strewn with juicy strawberries and petite polka dots. All you need is a Pimms and lemonade in your hand, and you're all set for the arrival of summer!

If your look is more vamp than it is vintage sweetheart, our new Eastern Promises sarong dress will spice up any occasion. Made from a stunning, oriental-themed cotton with a raspberry pink background, cherry blossoms, exotic blooms and gold accents, it has all the beauty of brocade without the weight and delicacy. We're also delighted to show you our Blue Skies sarong, which is made from a gorgeous linen fabric that's the same azure blue as a tropical sky. It's delicately embroidered with silver, purple and leafy green flowers and foliage.

Our period perfect 1940s style sarongs are the perfect alternative to the full-skirted look of our circle dresses, with the same pinup perfect bodice, complemented with the straight, wrap around skirt and waterfall ruffle that is incredibly flattering on an array of shapes and sizes.

We hope you enjoy looking at our beautiful new fabrics as much as we enjoyed choosing them. Do leave a comment below to let us know what you think!
